Highland
Spring HIHO, known as the World’s Greatest Windsurfing & Sailing Adventure,
will take windsurfers and sailors on a 7-day odyssey through the British Virgin
Islands. The famous windsurfing portion of the event combines between 7 and 9
island-to-island races including a thigh-burning blast from the North Sound to
Anegada and the longest race of the event, a 28-mile downwind through the Sir
Francis Drake Channel.

This adventure race winds its way through
the BVI, offering participants the chance to discover new beaches and islands
each day of the event. The fleet of over 20 yachts and 150 participants forms
its own parties each night where great meals are complemented by dancing on the
beach and limbo contests.

Top local, regional and international
racers are expected. The Anderson family from Tortola, led by dad Ewan, who
clinched the #2 spot in the 2004 Grand Masters division, will lead the BVI
team. Top racers are also expected from Martinique and St Martin along with
teams and competitors from the UK, France, Slovakia, Australia and Peru.
Italian Luis Marchegger returns for his fourth Highland Spring HIHO event.
Overall runner up twice, the Italian semi-pro racer is gunning for his first
win!

Event sponsors are Highland Spring Natural
Mineral Water, HIHO, The Moorings, Neil Pryde, BIC and H20.
