Environment and Owner Experience is Focus of ISS & Oceanco Partnership

Technical design with a view on the environment and owner lifestyle experience. This is the focus of a new partnership between the Fort Lauderdale, FL-headquartered International Superyacht Society (ISS) and Oceanco, a world-class Netherlands-based builder of superyachts ranging from 80 to 140 meters.

“The partnership between Oceanco and ISS will focus on regulatory matters that impact safety, the environment and operational efficiency,” explains ISS board member, Melissa Orlick, of satellite communications provider IsoTropic Networks. “Furthermore, Oceanco will participate in the Society’s education endeavors lead by Clive McCartney. ISS continues to reach out to enlightened businesses and associations to partner in the goal of advancing the best results the yacht industry can achieve.”

In addition to this strategic partnership, Oceanco has volunteered to provide the highest level of sponsorship to key ISS events, including the annual Fort Lauderdale Gala Design Awards on October 31. www.superyachtsociety.org, www.oceancoyacht.com
