Education and entertainment defined the Caribbean Northern Lights Dealer Network Training & Conference, held June 10–13, 2025, in Deerfield Beach, Florida.
Participants from 10 Caribbean dealerships—including Parts & Power—along with five dealer principals, attended the event hosted by Northern Lights, a Seattle-based leader in generator sets, propulsion engines, and onboard climate systems.
Hands-On Training from Industry Veteran
Leading the sessions was Joe Maas, Eastern Hemisphere service manager and longtime company expert with nearly 50 years of experience.
Maas, whose background includes service as a nuclear submarine electrician and U.S. Navy trainer, delivered technical instruction with a distinctive mix of depth and humor. His sessions covered:
- Sales training strategies
- Technical system insights
- The Northern Lights Caribbean Cooperative Advertising program
The engaging delivery helped simplify complex topics while keeping participants actively involved.
Building a Stronger Caribbean Network
Beyond the classroom, the conference created opportunities for relationship-building across the region. Northern Lights hosted dedicated dinners for dealer principals and group events for all attendees, encouraging collaboration and knowledge-sharing among partners.
