The French Caribbean island of Martinique is the latest charter base location for The Moorings, the Clearwater, Florida-based global charter company. The windward island located south of Dominica and north of St. Lucia features year-round comfortable sailing conditions and boasts a unique Caribbean culture steeped in French heritage. The Moorings’ Martinique fleet will be located in La Marina du Marin and will feature a variety of yachts accommodating boaters of every type, including sailing monohulls and catamarans, as well as power catamarans.
“Moorings 4000, 4500 and 514PC will all be available in Martinique,” says Ian Pedersen, marketing manager. “Charters are available to book now for departures starting in December 2019.”
The Moorings base at La Marina du Marin is a 45-minute drive from the Martinique Aimea Cesaire International Airport.
