IGY Caribbean Yacht Launch

IGY Caribbean Yacht Launch: A ‘yacht gathering’ rather than a show, this three-day event held at IGY’s Yacht Haven Grande, in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands, aims to celebrate the arrival of the Caribbean yachting season in style. The event is specifically designed to support retail charter yacht bookings and charter support service companies during the 2020/2021 season, at a time when the need for assistance could not be greater. Brokers and agents will be able to access the latest charter destination information at the event and virtually via webinars. Crucial, up to date local travel and COVID-19 regulations will al
so be presented during these presentations. Strict health and safety measures will be in place to ensure guests can enjoy the event safely.
Highlights of the Yacht Launch will include IGY’s IronCrew competition; USVI, BVI and St. Maarten updates on how to enjoy a successful winter yacht charter season; Covid-19 testing and availability; accessible destination itineraries; a guide to which major attractions remain open; provisioning and security updates; and a chance to visit participating yachts. The event will close with an informal awards ceremony. Reservations are required for all activities.
