MarineMax Vacations Makes BVI Power Catamaran Charter Booking Easier
MarineMax Vacations' new site lets you check live availability, hold a boat and book a BVI power cat online, with a human still a call away.
Booking a BVI power catamaran charter just got a few clicks easier. MarineMax Vacations launched a redesigned website in September where guests can check real-time availability and pricing, place a hold and book online. Charterers can also compare five power catamaran models, from the three-cabin, 42-foot MarineMax 423 to the five-cabin, 54-foot MarineMax 545. Individual boat pages detail cabin configurations and guest capacity, while expanded BVI content offers itinerary ideas and a look at experiences from snorkeling and paddling to secluded beaches and onboard dining. Those who prefer personal help can still request a customized quote from a charter consultant.

The five models span the fleet MarineMax Vacations has built around Aquila power catamarans: the 423 with three cabins for six guests, the 443 with three cabins for six to eight, the 464 with four cabins for eight, the 505 with five cabins for ten, and the 545 with five cabins for eleven. All run from the company’s base at Nanny Cay Marina on Tortola’s south shore, opened in 2018, a short shuttle from the West End ferry dock or Road Town, with the marina’s restaurants, pool and provisioning on the dock and resort rooms for the night before a charter.
“Planning a charter should feel as exciting as the trip itself. With our new website, guests can browse the fleet, check real-time availability and pricing, and book their British Virgin Islands vacation faster and easier than before,” says Dave Bigge, vice president of MarineMax Vacations. “And our team is always just a call away when they want a more personal touch.”
The booking may have moved online, but the choices that shape a BVI week have not: whether to pick up a mooring ball or anchor, how much to provision for a power cat that covers the territory’s short hops in daylight, and what a captain or chef adds to the bill. The company’s expanded BVI pages are a reasonable primer; our own guides below go deeper.
MarineMax Vacations, a subsidiary of Oldsmar, Florida-based MarineMax, operates its power catamaran charter fleet from the BVI.
