Triple the Sailing Fun for 2026!

The Caribbean Sailing Association (CSA) has launched three coordinated sailing calendars from 2026 onward, each designed to celebrate a different dimension of Caribbean sailing: international regattas, dinghy racing, and cruising rallies. Together, they create a year-round framework offering something for every sailor, from seasoned competitors to family cruisers.

International Regatta Calendar: The new five-year Caribbean International Regatta Calendar (2026–2030) unites premier regional events under one schedule, streamlining logistics for visiting yachts and professional crews. Notable 2026 changes include the BVI Spring Regatta moving two weeks earlier (March 23–29) and the introduction of the Antigua Racing Cup (April 9–12). Antigua Sailing Week returns to its roots with a four-day, point-to-point format, now welcoming both racing and cruising classes. 

“We are very proud to provide a full and coordinated calendar,” says Bastien Pouthier, CSA president. “It is quite a challenge to line up all events within a reasonable time frame that will work for most competitors. Only the Caribbean provides such an effort at an international level.”

Dinghy Racing Calendar: The CSA’s new Dinghy Racing Calendar supports youth and grassroots development across member islands. 

“As a region, we often focus on sending our best dinghy sailors abroad, but we are still not maximizing regional opportunities,” says Saskia Revelman, CSA board member.

The Caribbean Dinghy Championship (CDC) in Antigua anchors this circuit, with teams from seven nations and, for the first time, an inclusive RS Venture class.

Rally Calendar: For cruisers, the Rally Calendar expands social sailing opportunities through partnerships with the World Cruising Club, the Salty Dawg Sailing Association, and regional regattas that incorporate rally divisions. 

“Our rally class at the Caribbean Multihull Challenge is very popular,” says Revelman. 

Antigua Sailing Week 2026 will add a rally option. 

“It’s created the opportunity to return to the event’s original concept at a new location each evening,” says Alison Sly-Adams, ASW organizer.
