Stand-out features such as a Dual Prop System, contra-rotating propellers that deliver high running performance and directional stability, are one reason Suzuki Marine’s newest four-stroke flagship earned the IBEX Innovation Award for outboard motors at the 2017 International Boat Builder’s Exhibition & Conference (IBEX), in Tampa Florida, USA. A second reason is that the company’s 4,390cm3 V6 DF350A engine boasts high output while being compact in size, thanks to unique Direct Intake and Dual Louver systems, which efficiently take outside air into the engine.
“While we celebrate our most recent milestone in our storied history, our engineers continue to chart a new course addressing rising fuel costs with outboards that deliver remarkable fuel economy without sacrificing power and performance,” says Erving Rosario, sales and marketing manager of Suzuki Del Caribe, in Carolina, Puerto Rico. “Models from 9.9HP to 350HP have been developed from the ground up with every component redesigned to make them as lightweight and mechanically efficient as possible, so boaters can get the most out of every drop of fuel. Soon, boaters can expect further development of Suzuki’s Lean Burn Control Technology across the model lineup”.
