Rincón Sailing relaunches their Teen Summer Sailing Adventure in the British Virgin Islands for the first time since the devastating hurricanes of 2017. The 7-night 8-day camps, operated by the Rincon, Puerto Rico-based sailing school, will begin July 6 and continue weekly through August 24. Geared for all levels of sailors ages 13- to 18-years, the camp offers a unique opportunity for young sailors to gain significant life and sailing experience aboard a 50-foot monohull sailboat.

“The daily rotation of skipper and crew roles are opportunities for team work, communication, leadership, decision making and problem solving. There’s also time to snorkel caves and shipwrecks, swim with turtles and explore beaches and island trails,” says Jeanne Walker Sinclair, M.S.Ed., who operates Rincon Sailing with husband, Jeff. “Our curriculum is focused on safe boating skills, sailing as a lifelong activity and promoting stewardship and preservation of the coastal environment.”

The per session cost per student is $1975, and includes curriculum, boat, captain, crew, three meals and snacks daily. Not included is air travel to the BVIs, optional travel insurance and souvenirs. All-Girl, All-Boy and Co-Ed camp weeks available. www.rinconsailing.com
