There are new faces at one of Grenada’s favorite yachting places. Christine and Devin Nelles, long-time Caribbean-based hospitality professionals and boutique hotel consultants, have recently taken over the helm at Le Phare Bleu Villa Resort & Marina. As a result, the property, located on at the southern end of the Spice Island, now features the newly rebranded restaurant: Island Fever Tropical Tavern. Diners will find a lovely fresh laid-back island vibe here evident in the décor, such as high ceilings and colors of the sea throughout, as well as seafront setting with a gorgeous view of Petit Calivigny Bay.
“The Island Fever Tropical Tavern is open 7 days a week and offers a casually priced breakfast and an all-day menu featuring regionally influenced Caribbean seafood and comfort food using local ingredients in creative ways,” says Christine Nelles. “The craft cocktail program features creative twists on mojitos, daiquiris, and play with classic and modern rum- and gin-based cocktails. The Saturday poolside BBQ and Sunday All Day Breakfast are added features.”
All marina, villa and restaurant guests are welcome to use the well-appointed pool area as well. Other amenities at the resort include: After Glo Beauty Bar & Spa, Absolute Ozone Therapy Clinic and Blue Light Distillery where batch made gin and vodka are being made and showcased in the cocktails. www.lepharebleu.com
