Hooters Calendar Girls Participating in Captain Olivers Regatta

When the 6th annual Captain Oliver’s Regatta, which is presented by Coors Light, will kick off to a start with registration and festivities on Friday May 14th, it will be with a team of Hooters’ Calendar Girls, who are visiting the island for their yearly photo shoots. Calendar signing sessions will be held during the initial cocktail party on Friday evening and the buffet on Saturday night.

The following day, on Saturday May 15th, the first race will be the traditional around the island course. For people interested in following the race on close range and be in the midst of the action, there is an opportunity to join the event along with the Hooters’ Calendar Girls – more details to come.

After the race, Captain Oliver’s will be buzzing with activities. The entertainment, various challenges and games are still in the planning stage. The day will reach its peak with a buffet dinner and party at Captain Oliver’s Restaurant.

The regatta will host 8 classes: Racing monohull, Bareboat, Performance monohull, Cruising monohull, Racing multihull, Cruising multihull, Beachcat and Corporate Challenge. The Corporate Challenge is a “race within the race” where participating companies will compete against each other on identical 44’ bareboats in their own class during the regatta, the price to enter The Corporate Challenge is $ 2200, which includes the entry fee, the 3-day yacht rental with 10 person capacity as well as a skipper (not included security deposit for yacht).

Sunday May 16th will be the third and last day of the regatta. The course of the race will be set in the channel between St. Martin and St. Barths, outside of Oyster Pond. Following the race there will be lunch served in Captain Oliver’s Restaurant, and the regatta will be rounded off with the prize ceremony, awarding the prizes to the winners of the regatta.

The weekend of the 14th-16th May will be a great weekend to come out with friends and family to enjoy the regatta festivities in Captain Oliver’s Marina, Oyster Pond – on water and on land.
