Superyacht Batello Brings Full-Day “Destination” Charter Experience to the Caribbean
The 262-foot Batello enters the Caribbean charter market October 1 with a full FunAir inflatable setup, turning the yacht itself into a floating resort destination.
The newest luxury in yacht charter may be staying put. Batello, a 262-foot (80-meter) Oceanco superyacht entering the Caribbean charter market on October 1 until April 2027, when she ships to the Med, is built around a growing idea in the industry: the yacht itself becomes the destination.
A Floating Resort
Batello stands at the forefront of this shift, with an extensive, fully integrated installation of FunAir inflatable yacht toysdesigned to transform both the yacht and the surrounding waterline into a multi-use environment for recreation, relaxation, and socializing.
“The Caribbean offers some of the most beautiful waters and anchorages in the world, and that creates the perfect environment for yachts like Batello to evolve beyond simply being a mode of transport and become destinations in their own right,” says John Courtney, managing director at FunAir. “With so many secluded coves, turquoise bays and remote anchorages, a yacht can offer guests the feeling of a completely private sanctuary while still delivering all the facilities, service and atmosphere of an ultra luxury resort.”
Onboard Amenities
Following a 2025 refit, Batello shifted focus from itinerary-driven cruising to creating full-day experiences at anchor. The yacht’s inflatable setup includes:
- A floating dock
- A netted sea pool
- Water polo goals
- A climbing wall
- A wakeboard ramp
- A slide
- Loungers and shaded areas
- An outdoor cinema
Charter Details
The concept is geared toward multigenerational charters, with spaces designed so guests of different ages can relax, dine, socialize, or enjoy watersports without leaving the yacht. Batello, available for charter through IYC, accommodates up to 12 guests in nine staterooms with a crew of 26. Weekly charter rates range from $735,000 to $780,000, plus expenses, with availability this winter in the British Virgin Islands, Leeward Islands, and Windward Islands.
Batello joins a fleet of recent big-ticket Caribbean charter debuts, including the 266-foot Alfa Nero, and arrives ahead of the 2026 USVI Charter Yacht Show this November.
