Antigua Cruising Rally Joins Antigua Sailing Week 2025
New for 2025, the Antigua Cruising Rally offers a relaxed 7-day sailing adventure around Antigua during Antigua Sailing Week, welcoming cruisers to enjoy blue water passages, beach stops, and legendary events like Reggae in the Park.
Racers and ralliers alike have a place at Antigua Sailing Week (ASW), set for April 27–May 2, 2025. New this year, the Antigua Cruising Rally is a seven-day, point-to-point sailing adventure created for cruisers. It runs alongside the main regatta and adds a fresh, inclusive element to one of the Caribbean’s top sailing events.
“Organizers expressed their commitment to inclusivity and innovation, ensuring there is something for every type of sailor in 2025,” says Alison Sly-Adams, ASW president. “We are excited to welcome cruisers to join the ASW family through this new rally. This event is about embracing the joy of sailing and creating unforgettable memories while celebrating the island’s incredible beauty.”
The Antigua Cruising Rally is ideal for those who enjoy relaxed exploration over competition. Participants will follow a curated route around Antigua. They’ll discover stunning coastlines, white-sand beaches, and peaceful anchorages. The rally starts and ends in Falmouth and English Harbours. Along the way, crews will enjoy three beach stopovers, perfect for soaking in the local culture.
To connect cruisers with the heart of ASW, the schedule includes a return to Falmouth Harbour midweek. This gives participants access to Reggae in the Park and Lay Day, two major highlights of the week. As a result, they’ll enjoy the social side of ASW while keeping the rally’s easygoing pace.
