First Island Water World Fishing Tournament Coming in APRIL
The Annual Island Water World Fishing Tournament will be held April 13, 2014 at Bobby’s Marina in Philipsburg, in front of our store.
The event is organized in conjunction with the the St Maarten Sportfishing Organization and open to everybody.
Registration is on April 12 from 8.00am – 12.00pm at our store at Bobby’s Marina.
Prizes will be given to the winners of:
- First prize : Largest Mahi Mahi
- Second : 2nd largest Mahi Mahi
- Third: Most weight Overall
- Fourth: Largest Tuna
- Fifth: Largest Wahoo
The overall value of prizes is US $ 5000.
Info for participating Fishermen:
- Lines in at 4.00 am
- Lines out at 3.00 pm
- Weigh station closes at 4.00 pm (regardless)
The Prize giving ceremony will be held at 5.00 pm in front of the 12 Metre Yacht Club.
A DJ will entertain Fishermen and visitors, food and drinks will be available at the 12 Metre YC.
