Port Nimara: Anguilla Breaks Ground on First Marina & Luxury Development
Anguilla's first marina, Port Nimara, is under development, featuring a 118-slip marina, a five-star hotel, and luxury villas. Set to open in 2027, it aims to transform Anguilla’s yachting scene.
It’s official. Anguilla’s first-ever marina, Port Nimara, is underway, with groundbreaking announced in January 2025. After decades of discussions about a marina at Forest Bay or the salt pond behind Sandy Ground, developers have selected a strategic location on Anguilla’s southwest shore, nestled between Cap Juluca and the Altamer estate.
Positioned less than 10 nautical miles from Marigot, St. Martin, and 26 nautical miles from Gustavia, St. Barth’s, Port Nimara will offer 118 slips, accommodating vessels up to 260 feet in length.
Luxury Beyond the Marina
Port Nimara is more than just a marina—it’s a comprehensive luxury destination featuring:
- A Five-Star Hotel – A 62-key luxury resort with world-class amenities.
- Beachfront Villas – 18 high-end villas on the shoreline, with future plans for an additional 18 upland villas and 45 private residences.
- Premium Yachting Facilities – A yacht club, customs and immigration services, and a waterfront promenade.
A Transformative Development for Anguilla
The marina project is a joint venture between:
- SF Investments (Sweden) – A global leader in marina construction and development.
- TEI Inc. (New York, USA) – A real estate development firm owned by Francis Greenburger.

According to David Mizrahi, managing partner of the development and CEO of SF Investments:
“Our goal is to create a world-class maritime destination that not only respects Anguilla’s natural beautybut also propels the island into a new era of economic opportunity.”
