Port Louis Marina Introduces In-Berth Fueling in Grenada

Fueling up in Grenada just became significantly more efficient.

Camper & Nicholsons Port Louis Marina, located in St. George’s, has announced a new partnership with Sol Petroleum and the launch of an upgraded diesel and gasoline fueling service, which opened in March. The new system includes five in-berth diesel outlets designed specifically for superyachts, allowing vessels to refuel directly at their dock.

The setup eliminates the need for traditional bunkering trucks, reducing noise and operational disruption while allowing crew to focus on onboard responsibilities.

Expanded Fuel Access for All Vessel Types

The marina’s new fueling infrastructure includes:

• Five in-berth diesel outlets for superyachts

• A dedicated diesel dock for charter and cruising yachts

• A separate gasoline dock for tenders, dinghies, and support craft

“We continue to invest heavily in our marina services and facilities,” says Zara Tremlett, General Manager. “We have seen continued growth and greater demand for fueling needs from our existing berth holders and visiting yachts. The popularity of Grenada and her sister islands continues to soar, and we are delighted to be able to offer a new service to our yachts.”

Tremlett adds that the in-berth system allows yachts booked for fuel to remain in place, minimizing onboard disruption and streamlining operations during busy periods.

As Grenada continues to grow as a Southern Caribbean hub for cruising yachts and superyachts alike, Port Louis Marina’s expanded fueling capabilities reflect that momentum.
