There’s a new face behind the very busy service department at Parts & Power Ltd. In October, Sayeed Mohammed took the reins over this part of the Tortola, British Virgin Islands-based company, which is the largest supplier of diesel engines, generators, parts and accessories in the Eastern Caribbean.
“Parts & Power’s foundation has always been service,” says managing director, Tom Gerker. “We have continually strived to increase our level of service and customer satisfaction through our 45-year history. Our service department made an incremental leap with the addition of Gavin Dooley as service manager in 2016. He expanded our service staff and set a new standard of excellence and customer service, especially following hurricanes Irma and Maria. Sayeed brings yet another step up in professionalism and managerial skills. We hope to be able to continue to increase our level of customer service under his leadership.”
Mohammed, a Trinidadian native, graduated from St. George’s College, completed Caterpillar’s College of Leadership Harvard ManageMentor training and holds certifications in diesel and gas engines, generators, machines, sales and customer service. Previous positions include service manager in the heavy equipment division at Massy Machinery (Trinidad & Tobago’s Caterpillar’s dealer) and most recently customer service manager at Ansa Automotive. www.partsandpower.com
