Horizon Yacht Charters (BVI), has announced a hot new trend joining their Horizon Active package at the British Virgin Island base in the Caribbean. Stand up paddle boards or SUP’s will be taking over the water. Aimed at satisfying the ‘active’ enthusiast, charter guests will be able to rent out the SUP’s for the duration of their yacht charter and give this new craze a go in the luxury of warm turquoise waters.
The SUP’s are 11ft 4″ high volume Bic longboards that you stand up on the entire time, maneuvering around the water with a single long paddle. These boards are perfect sea boards, as they are stable enough for beginners to instantly “get it”, but maneuverable enough to satisfy the “Laird Hamiltons’ of this world .An ideal way to explore deserted coves tucked away around the islands, and work on your balance and core strength at the same time!. SUPs can be enjoyed by all the family. A fun way to exercise or have a great new adventure to share whilst on charter with the whole family or just explore the islands.
