Horizon Charters and Budget Marine donate to St. Maarten Sea Rescue Foundation
The Sint Maarten Sea Rescue foundation received new all-weather GILL jackets donated by Budget Marine and Horizon Charters in January. Conditions around the island keep Sea Rescue busy and they often return to base cold and wet after responding to distress calls. The GILL all-weather jackets will keep the team visible, warm and dry while out on a shout.
Made up of volunteers and funded entirely by donations from the community, St. Maarten Sea Rescue is on standby 24/7 to assist mariners and other sea-goers in distress.
