Motor Yacht ELIXIR hosted a Sausage Sizzle fundraiser in Antigua to raise funds for the Australia bushfire relief aid. We raised $5,366.41 AUD in just 3 days! Attached are pictures of our crew in action if you would like to highlight the efforts of yachties giving back and turning out for a good cause!

Not only did we have a generous outpouring of online donations from yachties near and far, we also raised $1898.41 AUD in cash last night just from our homemade goodies made by our Australian Chef Tim Roszak. Our Australian stew Peta Harding spearheaded the humanitarian event as it was a cause near and dear to her heart, affecting people and animals from her homeland.

All cash donations went to WIRES Australian Wildlife Rescue and online donations can continue to be made to Australian Red Cross from the link below:

  1. Your contributions will not get there . They get eaten up by greed from the organisers .
Use another approach . Try to find someone who has a property online aand send them your donation directly.

If you decide on an area first then look up the phone numbers of pubs in the area or doctors or fire stations etc you will get on to someone who really needs help . Then send it direct to them. Mutch more satisfying than feeding some bugger driving around in his BMW in Rose bay
