Fort Lauderdale’s flagship holiday flotilla, run by the nonprofit Winterfest organisation, travels about 12 miles from the New River downtown up the Intracoastal to Pompano Beach. It mixes private boats with large sponsor showboats and megayachts, is televised, and sells tickets to a public viewing area at Las Olas.
