The oldest city’s Palm Sunday tradition: the bishop blesses every boat that files past the Municipal Marina, from shrimpers to kayaks. Free, and any vessel can join the line. Where to watch: A walking procession leaves the Cathedral Basilica at noon and crosses the Plaza de la Constitucion to the Municipal Marina. Boats form up south of the Bridge of Lions near the 312 bridge, run north, loop past the Bridge of Lions and then file past the marina dock where the priest blesses each one. Watch from the marina docks, the bayfront seawall along Avenida Menendez, or the Bridge of Lions once the procession has passed.
