Savannah’s Thanksgiving-weekend parade runs lit boats two full laps of the historic River Street waterfront between Eastern Wharf and the Talmadge Bridge, behind the Georgia Queen paddlewheeler. The Holiday Kickoff at Eastern Wharf, with tree lighting and Santa, makes it the opening night of the city’s Christmas on the River season.

- Route: Led by the Georgia Queen riverboat, the fleet runs twice from Eastern Wharf up to the Talmadge Bridge and back past Plant Riverside District and River Street.
