Ring out the old year in true Antiguan style with a beloved tradition organized by Admiral Nelson himself—aka Tommy Paterson, dock master at the host Antigua Yacht Club (AYC). This white-sail-only pursuit race features a triangular offshore course that guarantees big winds, big seas, and even bigger thrills. Around 30 yachts, from nimble Melges 24s to grand Swans and Perinis, compete across four classes: Racing, Race-Cruising, Cruising, and Classic. Each boat starts on handicap, with the first to finish crowned the winner. The event benefits the St. John’s Hospice.
