New Year’s Eve Fireworks over Grace Bay, Providenciales

Several Grace Bay resorts fire at midnight, turning the whole length of the beach into one long display best seen from the sand or a chartered boat. The display usually goes up at midnight. Where to watch: From the water: charter boats take guests out onto Grace Bay for the midnight shows (they book up early); the bay sits inside the reef, so only shallow-draft craft should be out at night. Ashore: any public beach access along Grace Bay – no ticket needed – with Flamingo Café’s beach bonfire a local favourite. Expect heavy traffic at the Seven Stars roundabout.
