Galveston Fourth of July Fireworks (Seawall)

Galveston’s Independence Day parade along the Seawall is followed by a 20-minute fireworks show over the Gulf near 37th Street. The display usually goes up at 9:15 pm. Where to watch: From the water: the show fires from the Seawall near 37th Street over the beach, so boats watch from the Gulf off the Seawall, staying well off the surf line; no boater rules found. Ashore: Seawall Boulevard (parade 6 pm). Separate Moody Gardens show at 9:15 pm and a July 3 show at Pier 21 on the harbor side.
