Owners Comments and Boat History

Many lovely years were spent on board. Beautiful sailing and a comfortable boat.

From the moment we put Beyla into the water, we were cruising. We comfortably lived for three years in the Caribbean on her.

Beyla offered plenty of room for two people and a cat. However, on many occasions, we housed up to five.

We opted to do about $50,000 worth of upgrades. We found a composting toilet to be much more convenient than having a holding tank considering regulations around dumping and the water maker was a lifesaver.

Many people say the island packet does not sail fast, but she sales steady. There were many storms and many times we counted our blessings for having such a great boat!  This boat was made to sail oceans.
