It’s double the kudos! Antilles Power honored the top-performing MTU-powered vessel at the 72nd International Billfish Tournament (IBT72) by recognizing Sari Victoria as this year’s standout performer. The Viking 72’, powered by MTU engines, excelled during the November 3–9, 2025 event at Club Nautico de San Juan, in Puerto Rico, where more than 60 boats competed. Sari Victoria also earned the title of Top Non-Sonar Boat, releasing one blue marlin, four white marlin, and two sailfish, underscoring the team’s strong showing throughout the tournament. Owner Manuel Saavedra received the Antilles Power Award, a custom piece shaped like the Puerto Rican flag and crafted from reclaimed wood.

Antilles Power also acknowledged the impressive participation of Prisa, a Viking 80’ equipped with MTU power, whose anglers released two blue marlin and a sailfish.

Introduced in 2024, the Antilles Power Award recognizes excellence within the IBT, the world’s longest-running offshore sportfishing tournament and a leader in tag-and-release conservation and billfish research.
