RORC Caribbean 600
The RORC Caribbean 600 is one of the Caribbean’s premier offshore sailing races, attracting a world-class fleet of professional and amateur sailors each year. Organized by the Royal Ocean Racing Club in association with the Antigua Yacht Club, the race starts and finishes in Antigua and covers approximately 600 nautical miles through some of the region’s most iconic sailing waters.
First held in 2009, the course winds around eleven Caribbean islands including Barbuda, Nevis, St. Kitts, Saba, St. Barthélemy, and Guadeloupe. The route combines tactical coastal navigation with open-water ocean racing, challenging crews with shifting trade winds, strong currents, and fast reaching legs between islands.
The race attracts an international fleet ranging from cutting-edge maxi yachts and professional offshore racers to performance cruising yachts and Corinthian crews. Known for its warm trade winds, spectacular scenery, and demanding course, the RORC Caribbean 600 has become a highlight of the winter Caribbean racing season and a key event on the global offshore racing calendar.
