January 15–22, 2026
Steady trade winds, accessible logistics, and a full slate of racing define the island’s long-running regatta anchored by the Mount Gay Round Barbados Race on January 21. “The week features expanded coastal racing, improved services for visiting yachts, and a growing multihull division,” says Marianna Polacka, regatta director. Eligible entrants range from CSA Racing and Cruising boats to J/24s, multihulls, liveaboard cruisers, and Fun Class participants. Spectators can watch from Carlisle Bay, Hastings, or onboard local excursion boats, while sailors can join via registration or crew placement. Daily socials, prize-givings, and the Mount Gay Red Cap Party round out a competitive, accessible, and community-driven week on the water.
