North Sound Boxing Day Regatta. This inaugural event hosted by the BVI’s West End Yacht Club (WEYC) features fun for everyone. For sailors, this means three days of great racing. The first day begins with a pursuit race start from Road Harbour, Tortola, with a finish in North Sound, Virgin Gorda, followed by food, music and prize-giving at Blunder Bay Estates. Day two is a Sunday Funday Family Day with races in and around North Sound, including:
- Hobie cat racing
- match racing
- kayak races
- SNUBA diving
- treasure hunts
- island tours and more.
Day three’s final race departs North Sound and ends in Soper’s Hole, West End, Tortola, with awards at Omar’s Fusion, home of the WEYC. There will also be land-based activities for the public and visiting non-sailors.
