It’s back! After a one-year hiatus, racing returns to Rodney Bay, Saint Lucia, for two days of competition off Pigeon Island and Cap Estate. Racing and cruising yachts, including J/24 and Surprise 26 fleets, are expected to tackle windward-leeward courses and coastal sprints hosted by the Saint Lucia Yacht Club. A Friday welcome party and skippers’ briefing kick off the weekend before racing begins. Watch from shore. Pigeon Island and points around Rodney Bay offer good vantage spots as the fleet battles around the buoys against Saint Lucia’s mountainous backdrop.
