Aruba’s prime offshore waters set the stage for three days of catch-and-release action, with teams targeting blue marlin, white marlin and sailfish. Based at Varadero Aruba Marina & Boatyard, the tournament carries an $800 boat entry fee and combines serious fishing with a lively dockside atmosphere. “We had an incredible 73 billfish releases during last year’s tournament, a reminder of how amazing Aruba fishing truly is,” says Laura Mansur, organizer.
