Once a year the Lower Keys pipe music onto Looe Key reef through underwater speakers to promote reef protection, and divers and snorkelers turn out by the boatload. It’s one of the few festivals you can only attend by boat.
- On the water: Music is broadcast through underwater speakers at Looe Key reef while snorkelers and divers listen. A large fleet of private and charter boats moors at the reef for the day.
- Where to watch: Only from the water: boats at Looe Key, about six miles south of Big Pine Key.
