A two-town holiday procession in which decorated yachts, workboats, sailboats and paddle craft run the Morehead City waterfront and then swing round Radio Island into Beaufort’s Taylor’s Creek. Entry is free and open to almost any vessel, and the Maritime Museum’s support group uses the night as a fundraiser.
- Starts: 17:30 Morehead City waterfront; about 18:30 Beaufort (Taylor’s Creek)
- Route: Fleet gathers near the west end of Morehead City harbor around 5 pm, passes east along the Morehead City waterfront, rounds the south end of Radio Island into Bulkhead Channel, then makes a slow eastbound pass down Taylor’s Creek along Beaufort’s Front Street toward the Beaufort Hotel.
