About her

Sueños is a 2025 Lagoon 46 with four cabins and four heads, so nobody draws the short straw at bedtime. She is a natural fit for two families sailing together, or a group of friends who want a villa’s worth of room and the anchorages of Culebra and Vieques outside the door.

A furling main keeps sail handling simple for a crew that is more family than racing team. Air conditioning, a generator and a watermaker carry the comforts away from the dock.

The cruising ground

Sailing from Fajardo: Culebra, Vieques and the Spanish Virgins

Puerto Rico's east coast is the jumping-off point for the Spanish Virgin Islands. Isla Palomino is a short first hop from Fajardo, and Culebra, Culebrita and Vieques lie east and south, each within a day's sail. They are all part of Puerto Rico, so there is no customs clearance between the marina and their anchorages. Going on to the US or British Virgin Islands is a border crossing with its own rules, so check with your charter company before you plan it.
