Sailing from Fajardo: Culebra, Vieques and the Spanish Virgins
Puerto Rico's east coast is the jumping-off point for the Spanish Virgin Islands. Isla Palomino is a short first hop from Fajardo, and Culebra, Culebrita and Vieques lie east and south, each within a day's sail. They are all part of Puerto Rico, so there is no customs clearance between the marina and their anchorages. Going on to the US or British Virgin Islands is a border crossing with its own rules, so check with your charter company before you plan it.
