Ring in 2027 with a bang as fireworks light up Admiralty Bay, Bequia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The 10-minute spectacle starts at midnight, with prime shoreside viewing from the Belmont Walkway, the waterfront in Port Elizabeth and Hamilton across the bay. Boaters can enjoy the show from vessels anchored in Admiralty Bay. Launched in 2000 to boost tourism, the annual display relies entirely on donations. “The annual show is funded 100% by donations,” says Ella Mitchell-Sutton, a representative of the Bequia New Year’s Eve Celebration organizing committee. Local volunteers organize the celebration, with a pyrotechnician from Nova Scotia, Canada, staging the display. Contributions are welcome at gofund.me/c5a765db2
