New Year’s Eve Fireworks over Paradise Island and Nassau Harbour

Atlantis closes its Royal Deck party with a midnight display over Paradise Island, visible across Nassau Harbour as Bay Street gears up for New Year’s Junkanoo. The display usually goes up at midnight. Where to watch: From the water: Nassau Harbour between downtown and Paradise Island – Caribbean Journal notes the harbour displays are visible from private boats; marinas on both sides of the harbour (including Atlantis Marina) are within sight. Ashore: public waterfront along the harbour and resort terraces. Junkanoo on Bay Street follows after midnight (New Year’s Day parade).
