Old Year’s Night Fireworks over English Harbour

Hundreds gather at Nelson’s Dockyard for the Old Year’s Night party, and at midnight fireworks launched from Fort Berkeley at the harbour entrance light up English Harbour and the yachts at anchor. The display usually goes up at midnight. Where to watch: From the water: English Harbour and Freeman’s Bay anchorages and the Dockyard marina berths face Fort Berkeley, the launch point at the harbour mouth; yachts in Falmouth Harbour next door have a partial view.
