Bigger boats and new broker experiences are on tap when some 45 crewed charter yachts fill C and D docks at IGY’s Yacht Haven Grande, St. Thomas. The primarily sailing multihull fleet ranges from 45 to 80 feet, with newer yachts joining recently refitted favorites. “Each year we are seeing fewer vessels in the 40 feet range and more over 60 feet,” says Melissa Popple, director of events for the show host, Virgin Islands Professional Charter Association. One to see is the solar-electric Isabella 62. New this year are extended Broker Experience outings, morning wellness sessions, and awards and crew festivities at the Lindbergh Bay resort.
