Yachts will race from Tortola, BVI, to the Willy T Floating Bar & Grill in The Bight, Norman Island, with one rule up front: women take the helm. Monohulls, multihulls, ILCAs and RS Fevas are invited, with weather determining the course. First start is at 10 a.m. “Female skippers only,” says Tamsin Rand, manager at the Royal BVI Yacht Club. Sponsored by the Willy T since 1990, this long-running regatta ends where the party starts, with a post-race celebration aboard the floating bar.
