Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour is hiring a Boatyard Manager to run the safe, efficient and profitable operation of the marina and boatyard — vessel haul-out, launch, storage, maintenance coordination, yard logistics, equipment oversight and customer service, consistent with VGYH’s professional boatyard operations and specialized vessel care.

Qualifications:

– 5+ years in boatyard, marina or marine-services operations, or a related supervisory role
– Diploma or degree in Marine Engineering, Marina Operations or Business Management preferred
– Strong knowledge of vessel handling, haul-out procedures, yard safety and storage operations
– Proven experience leading teams and coordinating simultaneous operations
– Sound health, safety and environmental practice in a marine or industrial setting
– Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving and organizational skills
– Comfortable with scheduling, reporting and computer-based admin
– Physically able to work an active outdoor marine environment; weekends/overtime in peak periods

A plus:

– Travel lifts, forklifts, yard trailers and other marine lifting/transport equipment
– Marina management, vessel maintenance coordination or marine technical services background
– Occupational-safety or operations management training
– Familiarity with Caribbean marine operations and hurricane preparedness
– Experience serving yachts, commercial vessels and a diverse visiting fleet
