Slurpy has spent fifteen years doing the least glamorous and most necessary job in Simpson Bay Lagoon: taking sewage off boats so that it stays out of the water everyone anchors in. EPIC — Environmental Protection in the Caribbean, the non-profit that put her into service in 2011 — is selling her.
She is a 2005 19ft Carolina Skiff with a 70hp Yamaha four-stroke (2008), a Sani Sailor pump rebuilt in 2024, and a 225-gallon holding tank. New gel coat, new batteries, new bilge pump. She lies in Sint Maarten, and the seller can arrange shipping.
A pumpout boat is a rare thing to come up for sale in the Caribbean — rarer still one that arrives with a proven job already waiting for it.
