The Antigua & Barbuda Sports Fishing Tournament is one of the Caribbean’s longest-running and most respected sportfishing events, hosted annually by the Antigua & Barbuda Sports Fishing Club. Held out of Falmouth Harbour Marina, the two-day tournament follows the Mikie Pigott Jr. Memorial Classic and brings together anglers for competitive offshore action.
Teams can compete in two divisions—Marlin or Sporting—or enter both, targeting species such as blue marlin and other pelagic gamefish in the productive waters off Antigua’s southern coast. The event has a strong reputation for both competition and camaraderie, attracting local and international teams each year.
Top-performing teams have the opportunity to qualify for the Offshore World Championship in Quepos, adding an extra level of prestige to this historic Caribbean tournament.
