2024 USVI Charter Yacht Show: A Celebration of Luxury Yachting
The 2024 USVI Charter Yacht Show, held from November 8–11 at Yacht Haven Grande in St. Thomas, featured over 60 professionally crewed yachts and welcomed brokers from the Caribbean, U.S., and Europe. This annual event marks the beginning of the U.S. Virgin Islands’ vibrant crewed yacht marine tourism season, showcasing the region’s unmatched beauty, culture, and yachting excellence.

Event Highlights and Competitions
This year’s show kicked off with a Carnival-style Opening Ceremony Parade and included a seminar series on topics like coastal ecology. The mixology and culinary competitions added a unique flavor, with contestants incorporating locally made and grown ingredients into their creations.
“The 2024 USVI Charter Yacht Show truly highlights the U.S. Virgin Islands as a premier destination for bespoke charter experiences,” says Joseph Boschulte, Commissioner of the U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Tourism. “It sets an inspiring tone for the 2024-2025 season, showcasing our marine industry’s vital role in our economy and community.”
The Bespoke Fleet
The show featured a diverse lineup of 65-plus yachts, including powerboats, sailboats, multihulls, and monohulls. Each yacht delivered a customized experience, with standout designs and world-class crews:
- One Love: Winner of Best Yacht in Show – 50’ & Under
- High 5: Winner of Best Yacht in Show – 51’-59’
- Liquid Sky: Winner of Best Yacht in Show – 60’ & Over
Yachts and crews were judged on their unique offerings, with prizes including Cardow Jewelers’ Pilot Watches, luxury gift certificates, and bespoke items from local businesses.

Strong Support and Community Spirit
The event was powered by dedicated sponsors, including the USVI Department of Tourism, IGY Marinas, and Cardow Jewelers, among others. “From yachts and brokers to local businesses and government agencies, this event celebrates the collective passion of our yachting community,” says Siboney Trevino, VIPCA President.
