Virgin Yacht Charters – Destiny on Cooper Island Mooring

Meet your Destiny in the British Virgin Islands. Virgin Charter Yachts, a boutique charter company based at Nanny Cay Marina in Tortola, has added the Voyage 480 sailing catamaran to its fleet. Destiny, built in 2019 and the newest of the Voyage 480’s, presents a 4 cabin/4 head layout ideal for couples or families who’d like to charter together. Known as a high-performance sailboat, the Voyage 480 is a sailing catamaran that actually sails. It is lightweight, fast and very responsive making it a great choice for sailing enthusiasts. At the same time, Destiny offers comfort galore. On the sailing side, there’s a fully battened mainsail, electric furling genoa and electric winches. Inside and out, the salon and galley are bright and open, there’s a dining area aft perfect for al fresco dining, and the galley itself offers a soup to nuts of conveniences including a watermaker and ice maker.

“We are happy to accept reservations now for Destiny,” says Alexia Lucas, of Virgin Charter Yachts, family-owned and operated since 1996. “We are not sure yet when people can start chartering again in the BVI. However, we are accepting bookings for later in 2020 and anytime in 2021. If someone books a charter in 2020 and they are not able to travel due to a travel ban still in place from COVID-19 we will offer them a year to reschedule their charter.” virgincharteryachts.com
