Boat Show Breakfast – North Sails

The 43rd annual Antigua Charter Yacht Show took
place on the 2nd – 7th December 2004, in Nelson’s Dockyard Marina in English
Harbour, the Falmouth Harbour Marina and the Antigua Yacht Club Marina. The
Antigua Charter Yacht Show is one of the largest Charter Yacht Shows in the
World and signifies the official start of the yachting season not only in
Antigua and Barbuda but also in the Caribbean generally.

North sails in association with Marina bas de Fort,
Guadeloupe laid out an excellent and very much appreciated breakfast for
skippers and crew of those yachts participating in the Charter Yacht Show.
This is the third year that Andrew Dove,
North Sails Caraibe has organised this breakfast gathering – “The initial idea
was to give skippers the opportunity of keeping their galleys clean by sending
their crew ashore” says Dove – “It seemed that this year more skippers took the
opportunity over a cup of coffee and a traditionally French style breakfast to
discuss their sail requirements for the coming seasons.”

Thanks to North Sails Caraibe and Marina bas de
Fort for their continued support and hospitality that is so much appreciated at
the Show.

We would also like to congratulate newly appointed
North Sails Guadeloupe loft manager, Gavin Hall and his wife Marine.
Gavin had to leave the breakfast early in
order to be at the birth to their baby daughter ¨Amy Océane¨ born Friday 3rd
December at 1432hrs
