fall, when Bitter End Yacht Club hosts the 19th Annual Pro Am
Regatta Week, October 28-November 6.

Cup winner Russell Coutts against long-time rival and Round the World Race
winner Paul Cayard. Coutts and Cayard
will be dueling aboard a pair of brand new high-tech race boats. And, should
they be so bold, guests can crew for them!
race is one event in the nine-day expanded Pro-Am hosted by legends: Russell
Coutts, Paul Cayard, Ed Baird, Andy Burdick, Robbie
Haines, Keith Musto, Lowell North, Tom Leweck, Butch Ulmer, Rod Johnstone
and Roy Disney. Other events to be held include the 4th annual Musto Scuttlebutt Championships, the Defiance Day Regatta,
and of course, the Pro-Am Regatta. Awards include the grand prize of a
week’s vacation at Bitter End next year to defend the title as well as
great gear from event sponsors.
End uses a unique “triple- racing” and junior/master team format to
maximize on the water time with the pros. Shoreside
events include a lively social schedule and informative seminars. Join in the
4th Annual Scuttlebutt Sailing Club Championships (inshore and offshore). And,
there will be plenty of time for non-sailing activities like snorkeling, scuba,
windsurfing, beachcombing, and relaxing, so bring along friends and family.
