Yacht Haven Grande has a NEW General Manager

IGY Marinas announces a new General Marina Manager for Yacht Haven Grande’s Marina, Gili Wojnowich.  Mr. Wojnowich has been with Yacht Haven Grande Marina since 2010 and was recently promoted to General Manager of the Marina after having served as the Assistant Marina General Manager. In his tenure at YHG Marina, he has worked closely with management to improve and implement various financial and logistical reports to provide more accurate and valuable information for management use at all levels.  In his daily role, Gili oversees several key functions including fuel and utilities management, customer service relations, berth management, marina events coordinating, and vital financial data tracking.

As with all its employees, IGY works with each member to flourish talent and maximize capabilities. Within his first year at YHG Marina, Gili worked extensively to develop his knowledge of operating all facets of a world-class marina facility as well as executing new initiatives to add value to the bottom line.  He has gained invaluable experience in overseeing the marina’s operations and constructing the 2012 marina budget. “We were very impressed with Gili’s ability to adapt new policies and procedures at the marina that have clearly led us down a more cost-effective and customer-driven path. His plans for the future of the marina sit well with the IGY standards of practice and go beyond what we first envisioned for the property. We look forward to the future with Gili at the helm of YHG,” says Kenny Jones, EVP of Operations for IGY Marinas.

Gili is a native of Savannah, GA and a graduate of Emory University (Atlanta, GA) where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from the Goizueta Business School as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish.  Gili also holds a USCG Master Captain’s License and is an avid fisherman, boater, and scuba diver.
